Attention: The variant selected in the menu and therefore activated will
not be read back and displayed again by the program. If you go into the
selection menu a second time, the menu cursor will initially be back at variant 1,
even though variant 3, for example, had previously been activated.
7.4 REFERENCE RUN
To ensure that the drive motor can reduce its maximum speed just before
reaching the limit switches, the control system must measure the motor runtime
between the gate’s limit positions by performing a reference movement. It can
then use this runtime to estimate the movement path of the gate, taking the
previous limit switch as a reference point, and reduce the gate’s speed as it
approaches its limit positions.
This reference movement is preset upon the delivery of the control system, as
soon as the automatic mode is selected for the first time.
If it is necessary to activate this reference movement again, this can be done as
follows:
Menu: “Service Access”, “Password Input”: Enter password.
Menu: “Settings”, “Safety”, “Reference movement”: set value to “2”.
Menu: “Settings”, “Operating mode”, “Automatic mode” (If not already
active).
Exit the menu. The control system carries out a reset and is in automatic
mode.
