Selecting the menu system 5.4.4
The HMD24 menu system is accessed by pressing the twist and selector switch for
approx. 2 seconds while the operating mode is displayed. The display then shows
the text "Main menu".
Turn the selector switch to select the individual menu options and then press the
switch to activate the selected option. The first menu option in a menu level
always brings you back one level, "Return in menu". The "Exit main menu" option
in the main menu closes the menu display and restarts the control software.
Menu system 5.4.5
Large parts of the control functions of the HMD24 DC control system are realized
by means of adjustable parameters stored in the device. These parameters are
loaded into the control system in the factory and provide for the specific behaviour
for a defined gate. Many of these parameters can be made accessible to users or
gate control system fitters via the menu system.
Entering the password 5.4.6
The selection of the menu and navigation to the password input should be
demonstrated here from the operating mode display. The display shows
“automatic mode” and the rotary and selection switch is held down for 2 seconds
and released again upon the appearance of the menu display. This leads to the
following display:
All activity of the drive is halted immediately: The motor is stopped and all
running timers are deactivated.
In this status, the individual menu items can be brought up by rotating the
selection switch, and then selected by a pressing the switch. The first menu item
within each menu level returns users to the previous level.
Rotating the selection switch clockwise to the right by one detent causes the
following display to appear:
Main menu
1 Identification
Main menu
2 Service access
