6.5 FIXED SAFETY CONTACT STRIPS
The fixed safety contact strips (8.2 kΩ) for the protection of the gate can be
connected directly to the plug-in terminals at the bottom right on the input
terminal block.
Terminals nos. 9 and 10 are labelled “SKL open” on the printed circuit board. The
strip can be connected in the OPEN direction of the gate at these terminals.
Terminals nos. 11 and 12, labelled “SKL close”, are provided for the connection of
the safety contact strip in the CLOSE direction.

The contact strip signals are evaluated in the control system software.
Indus system with accompanying safety contact strips 6.5.1
The evaluation of the ISK inductive cable transmission system from manufacturer
ASO GmbH for the gate-accompanying safety contact strips (8.2 kΩ) is already
integrated into the control system, if the INDUS onboard 70-757 board (5.2 FULL
VIEW OF THE CONTROL SYSTEM no. 12) is plugged in. The SPK55 fixed coil core
can be connected directly to the two right-hand terminals, numbered 11 and 12,
on the upper input terminal block with the designation “ISK”. The signals from
the accompanying safety contact strips will then be evaluated in terms of safety in
the control system.

The evaluation of a connected ISK system is activated by default. To
retrospectively activate the ISK system (and deactivate JCM), the menu item
“Activate ISK” must be selected in the menu “Settings”; “Safety”.
