Following technical maintenance of the gate and a check of the safety functions by
qualified personnel, this can be acknowledged in the control system, and the
maintenance request thus reset, in the following way:
Menu: “Service Access”, “Password Input”: Enter password
Menu: “Diagnosis”, “Gate status”, activate “RESET Maintenance”
The time counter for the number of months that have elapsed, the cycle counter
for the number of gate movements and also the motor runtime counter will be
reset to 0.
7.9 BACKING UP PARAMETERS
A backup copy of the operating parameters of the control system that are
currently set can be saved in a separate memory area. If there is any doubt
following a subsequent change of the parameters, this backup copy of the
parameter set can be retrieved as a functioning set of parameters. The
parameters are backed up as follows:
Menu: “Service Access”, “Password Input”: Enter password.
Menu: “Settings”, “Param. Backup”, activate “Backup”.
7.10 RELOADING PARAMETERS
The parameters stored as a backup copy in a separate memory area can be re-
activated as current operating parameters of the control system. Following an
incorrect configuration of the HMD24 it is therefore possible to retrieve the
(functional) set of backed-up parameters as follows:
Menu: “Service Access”, “Password Input”: Enter password.
Menu: “Settings”, “Param. Backup”, activate “Retrieve”.
On completion of this copying process, the software automatically performs
a re-start of the control system in order to work with the new parameters.
7.11 RADIO REMOTE CONTROL
The control system variant complete with fitted radio receiver includes integrated
software permitting the reception of the signals from handheld radio transmitters
and the use of these signals to conveniently operate the gate in automatic mode.
The handheld transmitter must match the radio receiver and the preset decoding
software (in this case: HERAS radio transmitter: 868 MHz FM; coding “Rolling
Code”).
