5.7 SETTING THE NATIONAL LANGUAGE
After entering the password, technicians can change the language used in the
control system display. If the menu and the other displays are not shown in the
desired language, a different language can be selected from the 7 saved
languages as follows:
Menu: “Service Access”, “Password Input”: Enter password.
Menu: “Service Access”, “National Language”: select language.
Once the language has been selected, the display immediately changes to the new
language.
INSTALLATION OF THE CONTROL SYSTEM 6
This chapter describes the preparatory commissioning of the HMD24 DC, in terms
of both mechanical assembly and electrical installation.
6.1 ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
For safety reasons, the electrical installation must always be carried out by
an authorised specialist.
Work on the control system is only permissible if there is an all-pole shutdown of
the power supply system. For such an all-pole shutdown, a power cut-off switch
or the use of a plug is to be provided for. The power cut-off switch or mains plug
must be easy to access.
The items listed in the section on Safety must be observed. The parallel routing of
signal and energy lines should be avoided where possible. All cables are to be
dimensioned in accordance with their power consumption.
The cable glands used in the housing must be handled such that the protection
against the penetration of water and foreign bodies still corresponds to the cited
IP class after the cables have been fed through.
