Procedure
1. Turn off power and disconnect all the
test leads from the tester.
See 2.2 "Turning Power On and Off" (page 44).
2. Loosen the set screw on the rear of the
tester and remove the battery cover.
• When the battery status indicator
is low, replace the batteries.
• Use the specified batteries only. Do not use
manganese batteries, for example, since
operating time will be greatly reduced.
• To avoid corrosion from battery leakage,
remove the batteries from the instrument
if it is to be stored for a long time.
