B.2.1.4 Critical Faults
Critical fault designs:
• Not released through the software or communications commands.
• Cancel an exposure that is in progress.
• Prevent the start of a new exposure.
B.2.1.5 Alert Messages
The Alert Messages are routine messages that can prevent an exposure. An Alert message
remains active until the required action is complete or the condition does not exist.
B.2.2 System Messages
Select the system status icon on the Taskbar to get information about the cause and
correction of a system problem. When you correct the problem, the System Message area
displays a Ready status.
B.3 Troubleshooting
• To restart the System after a critical fault, select the Start button that displays on the
desktop.
• If you select the Exit button, a message advises you that this option shuts down the
computer.
