Do not turn the engine switch
key to the START position while
the engine is running.
The starter motor consumes a
large amount of current. Do not
therefore run it continuously for
more than 5 seconds at a time. If
the engine does not start within 5
seconds, wait at least 10 seconds
before running the starter motor
again.

When the boat is mounted with the
two outboard motors, perform the
above procedure on the right and left
outboard motors respectively.
After starting the engine, move the
control lever slowly to the position
where the engine does not stall and
hold the lever in the position.
Turn the engine switch key to the
START position and release the
