WARNING:WARNING:

supply branch circuit that provides power to the rack. Consult the electrical authority having
jurisdiction over wiring and installation requirements of your facility.
CAUTION: CAUTION: To prevent damage to electrical components, properly ground the server before beginning any installation
procedure. Improper grounding can cause electrostatic discharge.
CAUTION:CAUTION:
To prevent improper cooling and thermal damage, do not operate the server or the enclosure unless all drive and device
bays are populated with either a component or a blank.
ProcedureProcedure
1. If the server is using a single power supply:
a. Back up all server data.
b. Power down the server (Power down the server).
c. Disconnect all peripheral cables from the server.
2. Access the product rear panel ( Access the product rear panel ).
3. Disconnect the cable from the power supply.
4. Remove the power supply.
WARNING: WARNING: To reduce the risk of personal injury from hot surfaces, allow the power supply or
power supply blank to cool before touching it.
To replace the component, reverse the removal procedure.
