l A maximum of 16 half-width compute nodes can be installed in an E9000 chassis.
l Half-width compute nodes must be installed in slots from bottom to top. The slot sequence is as
follows: slots 1, 9, 2, 10, 3, 11, 4, 12, 5, 13, 6, 14, 7, 15, 8, and 16
Step 3 Remove the filler panel.
1. Press the ejector release button on the filler panel. See (1) in Figure 3-31.
