Backup
&
Restore
This
screen
allows
the
user
to
backup
controller
information
or
restore
previously
backed
up
information.
Creating
Backup
NOTE : When backup and restore operation is in progress, fastening operation will be disabled and
all
other
users
will
be
logged
out.
Do
the
following
to
create
a
backup
for
the
modules:
NOTE :
If
backup
is
performed
from
a
local
controller
screen,
make
sure
to
connect
a
USB
memory
stick
to
the
controller.
From
the
Modules
List,
select
the
modules
that
need
a
backup.
This
list
include
Settings,
Results and Logs, License, and Firmware.

Select
Create
Backup .2.
When
a
backup
is
performed
on
a
local
controller
screen,
on
successful
completion,
a
window
will
be displayed to select the folder location on the USB memory stick for saving the backup file. When
a
backup
is
performed
on
a
remote
connection,
on
successful
completion,
backup
file
will
be
downloaded to the default location provided in browser settings. If backup operation fails, an error
will
be
displayed.
Restoring
Backup
NOTE :
When
backup
and
restore
operation
is
in
progress,
fastening
operation
will
be
disabled
and
all
other
users
will
be
logged
out.
Do
the
following
to
restore
modules:
To select the backup file, select Browse near the
Select File field.1.
A
pop-up
window
will
be
displayed.
Browse
folder
for
the
backup
file,
select
the
file
and
then
select
Open.2.
The
backup
file
will
be
displayed
in
the
Select
File
field.
Select
Upload .3.
Once
the
upload
is
complete,
the
user
is
presented
with
modules
that
were
included
in
the
backup
file.
For
example;
Settings,
Results
and
Logs
and
so
on.
User can select one or more
modules to restore. A notification that the restore is in progress and on
completion,
a
success
or
failure
notification
will
be
displayed.
