Intro
9. IF Area 1 Entry/Exit Delay default values need to be changed, OR
IF Entry/Exit Delays are required in Areas 2, 3 or 4, program/edit the Area Entry and/or Exit Delay times.
Addresses 928 to 931 Area 1 to 4 Entry Delay. Default = Area 1: 30 Seconds.
Addresses 936 to 939 Area 1 to 4 Exit Delay. Default = Area 1: 60 Seconds.
10. Enable the System Inputs that are required to activate the Siren.
Address 865.
1 AC Fail. 5 Comms Fail / System Reset.
2 Low Battery. 6 Siren Monitor.
3 Cabinet Tamper. 7 PWR Fuse / Battery Fuse.
4 Keypad Lockout.
NOTE: If any of these options are selected, check the “System Input Siren Type” setting. Address 867.
0 = 1 second burst (Default). 1 = 10 second burst. 2 = 1 Sec burst every 60 Secs for 5 Mins.
11. Enable the System Inputs that are required to activate the Dialer.
Address 866.
1 AC Fail. 5 Comms Fail / System Reset.
2 Low Battery. 6 Siren Monitor.
3 Cabinet Tamper. 7 PWR Fuse / Battery Fuse.
4 Keypad Lockout. 8 Zone Self-Test Fail.
12. Program any Timers that may be required.
Address 788: Siren Time. (Defaulted to 5 Minutes)
Address 789: Keypad lockout time (Defaulted to 60 Seconds)
Address 810: AC Report delay. CAUTION. Read details in Section 4 - Times before programming.
13. IF any Areas or Auxiliaries are to be controlled automatically by a TimeZone, edit the required TimeZone/s.
Addresses 790 to 809. (All TimeZones have Default settings. Check the details before editing)
See Section 4 -Times for details.
NOTE: If the TimeZones are required to take account of Holidays, program the required Holiday Dates.
Addresses 966 to 985 See Section 4 -Times for details.
14. Program any additional Auxiliary outputs required.
(NOTE: Auxiliary 1 is already programmed with default settings for controlling a Strobe.
It is set to the “Burglary Alarm” Event Type and has “Auxiliary Response” options 2 & 3 selected)
-Program the Auxiliary Event Type: Addresses 816 (Aux 1) to 825 (Aux 10) (See Sect 8 [Auxes] for details)
-Program an Auxiliary Timer if required: Addresses 832 (Aux 1) to 841 (Aux 10)
-Program the Auxiliary Response: Addresses 848 (Aux 1) to 857 (Aux 10)
1 Output is inverted. (Normally Closed) 3 Aux Off when Event goes Invalid.
2 Aux On when Event goes Valid. 4 Aux timer will time in Minutes.
15. IF the system is programmed for Multi-Area operation (see Step 4), program the Terminals.
-Program the Terminal Area Mode if any Terminals are required to operate in Single-Area Mode. Address 961.
1 Sets Terminal 1 to Single-Area mode. 3 Sets Terminal 3 to Single-Area mode.
2 Sets Terminal 2 to Single-Area mode. 4 Sets Terminal 4 to Single-Area mode.
IF any Terminals are set to Single Area mode, assign the associated Area.
Addresses 952 (Terminal 1) to 955 (Terminal 4)
1 Assign Area 1. (Default) 3 Assign Area 3.
2 Assign Area 2. 4 Assign Area 4.
16. IF automatic Daylight Saving adjustment is required, program the start and end dates.
Addresses 986 to 991. See Section 4 -Times for details.
17. IF a TimeZone is required to Arm an Area, program the Area Arming Options.
Addresses 944 to 947 Area 1 to 4
0 No TimeZone control 3 TimeZone 3 will control the Area.
1 TimeZone 1 will control the Area. 4 TimeZone 4 will control the Area.
2 TimeZone 2 will control the Area.
NOTE: If a Pre-arm warning is required, program the “Autoarm Pre-warn time”. Address 870.
