Times
SIREN TIME Default = 5 Minutes
This Address sets the time the siren will sound when an alarm has occurred on a Zone Input.
Note that an alarm on a Zone Input will only activate the Siren when:
- The Zone Type selected is in the range of Type 0 to Type 5. (Address 736 [Zone 1] to 751 [Zone 16])
- The Zone Options must have Option 1 (Silent), Disabled.
- For Zone Types 4 (24Hr Fire) & 5 (24Hr Panic), Siren activation must also be enabled in the “Emergency
Options”. (Address 869: Option 1-Panic alarm sounds Siren. Option 3-Fire alarm sounds Siren)
- The Zone Input must have at least one Area assigned.
The Siren Time does not apply to System Inputs. Siren operation for System Inputs is determined by the
settings in Address 865 - System Input Siren enable, and Address 867 - System Input Siren Type.
KEYPAD LOCKOUT TIME Default = 60 Seconds
This sets the time the Terminal keypad will be locked out when five incorrect logins (PIN code attempts) in a
row have occurred on a keypad.
For Keypad Lockout to function, the setting must be non-zero.
See Section 7; “System Inputs” if Siren activation (Address 865, Option 4) or Dialer activation (Address 866,
Option 4) are required for Keypad Lockout.
