Syst. I/Ps
System Inputs are system events that can generate alarms.
Each System Input has three programmable options; Siren enable, Dialer enable and Siren type.
System Inputs are always enabled. When in alarm, System Inputs that represent Fault or Tamper conditions
will be indicated by the flashing “Fault” Lamp on the LED Terminal. All System Input alarms can be individu-
ally viewed/acknowledged via “Fault Analysis Mode” <NEXT 25>.

To enable selected System Inputs to also activate the Siren and/or Dialer, the “Siren Enable” and “Dialer
Enable” options must be programmed.
Note: The “Keypad Lockout” function is normally enabled (via the defaults) with a “Keypad Lockout Time” of
60 seconds. To disable, set the Lockout time to zero. (Address 789)
SYSTEM INPUT SIREN ENABLE Default = No System Inputs Enabled for Siren
Option: When Selected:
1 Enable Siren on AC fail
2 Enable Siren on Low battery
3 Enable Siren on Cabinet Tamper
4 Enable Siren on Keypad Lockout
5 Enable Siren on Comms fail / System reset
6 Enable Siren on Siren Monitor
7 Enable Siren on PWR Fuse / Battery Fuse
Note: Zone Self-test Fail alarms are enabled individually in Zone Input programming.
SYSTEM INPUT DIALER ENABLE Default = No System Inputs Enabled for Dialer.
If the system input has been enabled, and if the dialer option is selected, then when the system input goes
into alarm, the Concept 16 will attempt to report via the on board dialer.

1 Enable Dialer on AC Fail
2 Enable Dialer on Low Battery
3 Enable Dialer on Cabinet Tamper
4 Enable Dialer on Keypad Lockout
5 Enable Dialer on Comms Fail / System Reset
6 Enable Dialer on Siren Monitor
7 Enable Dialer on PWR Fuse / Battery Fuse
8 Enable Dialer on Zone Self-test Fail (Zone Self-test Fail does not activate the “FAULT” Lamp)
SYSTEM INPUT SIREN TYPE
This option selects the type of siren sound that will be generated if a System Input has been selected to
activate the Siren.
0 Default. One second burst.
1 Ten seconds burst.
2 One second burst every 60 seconds for the programmed Siren Time (Typically 5 minutes), OR until
alarm is acknowledged.
