9.1. CONNECTING VENTILATOR, PATIENT CIRCUIT, ENDOTRACHEAL
TUBE/FACEMASK
Note: The following procedures are identical for both Adult and Pediatric use.
First connect the ventilator tube to the ventilator gas outlet:
Then connect the tube
connector of the
measurement and control
tubes to the port on the left
of the ventilator
gas outlet:
Insert ventilator tube into ventilator gas outlet
Connectors fully inserted
Warning: Verify that each connector is secure by pulling gently on
the connector.
Insert the connector of the measurement and control tubes
