8.2.11 Rework to Enable V1P8A Source from PCH Internal LDO to
External VR
Description: Rework to be done on CFL-S RVP to change V1P8A source from PCH
internal LDO to external VR. This rework will move all V1P8A loads to external VR.
Impact of implementing the rework: No feature/ functional impact reported. PCH
internal VR current capability is limited to supply only PCH BGA pins AG19, AG20,
AR15, AN15, BB11, AF19 and AF20. PCH BGA pins AN32, AN26, AP26, AN24, AE35,
AE36, AC35, AC36, AN44 and BB14 should be connected to external V1p8A VR if
GPIOs are used for 1.8V interface.
Details: Etch resistor trace cut and resistor stuffing.
