Afewsecondsafteryouhaveswitchedonthepowertotheprinterand
theinitializationiscompleted,thecountdownmenuoftheIntermec
Shellprogramwillbedisplayed:

Nowyouhave5secondstoenterIntermecShellbypressing<Enter>.
Thelowerlinetellsyouhowmuchtimeyouhaveleft.Shouldthetime
runoutbeforeyouhavetakenanyaction,thelastselectedapplication
inIntermecShellwillbeopened.Ifyouusethesameapplicationallthe
time,youwillonlyneedtoswitchonthepower,oncetheapplicationhas
beenselected.
Ifnootherapplicationhasyetbeenselected,thecurrentversionof
IntermecFingerprintwillbeopenedwith"auto"selectedasstdI/O
channel(seeIntermecFingerprintmanuals).Whenthecountdownis
completed,youwillseetheselinesinthedisplay:
