the
Printer
Beforeyouinstalltheprinter,examinethepackageforpossibledamage
ormissingparts:
·Opentheboxandlifttheprinterout.
·Checkthattheprinterhasnotbeenvisiblydamagedduringtranspor-
tation.Keepthepackingmaterialsincaseyouneedtomoveorreship
theprinter.
·Checkthelabelontheprinter’srearplate,whichgivesthevoltage,the
partnumber,andtheserialnumber.
·Checkthatanyoptionsyouorderedareincluded.
·Checkthatalltheaccessoriesareincluded.Asstandard,theboxcon-
tains:
-IntermecEasyCoderPF4iCompactIndustrialprinter
-TwosetsofQuick-LoadGuides(wideandnarrow)
-Powercord
-Qualitycheckcard
-Cleaningcard
-Shortstripoflabels
-Starterpackofthermaltransferribbon
-ThisUser’sGuide
-SupportingsoftwareandproductinformationonCD.
·Checkthatthetypeofpowercordisappropriateforthelocalstan-
dard.Theprinterworkswithin90to265VAC,50to60Hz.
Iftheprinterhasbeendamagedinanywayduringtransportation,com-
plaintothecarrierimmediately.
Ifthedeliveryisincorrectoranypartsaremissing,reportitimmediately
tothedistributor.
