Theprinterisfactory-adjustedforfull-sizemediawidth.Whenusing
medialessthanfullwidth,itisrecommendedthatyouadjusttheposi-
tionofthepressurearmsoitbecomescenteredwiththemedia.Thereby,
anevenpressureacrossthemediaisobtained.
Apoorlyadjustedpressurearmmaybedetectedbyaweakerprintouton
eithersideofthemediapath.
Toadjustthepressurearm,proceedasfollows:
·Loosenthestraight-slotscrewthatholdsthepressurearm.Move
thearminwardsoroutwardsuntilthearrowonthetipofthearm
becomescenteredwiththemedia.
Whilemovingthearm,pushatthepartwherethescrewissituated,
notatthetip.Ifthearmishardtomove,lifttheprintheadandpull
theprintheadbracketfreefromthemagnetinthearm.
·Afterhavingcenteredthearm,lockitbytighteningthescrew.
