Interface
ThisprintersupportsUSBv1.1(alsocalledUSB2.0fullspeed).Touse
theUSBinterfaceforprintingfromaPC,youneedaspecialIntermec
USBprinterdriverinstalledinyourPC.
Theprinterisasocalled“self-powereddevice.”Werecommendthatyou
onlyconnectoneprintertoeachUSBportonthehost,eitherdirectlyor
viaahub.Otherdevices,likeakeyboardandamouse,canbeconnected
tothesamehub.IfyouneedtoconnectmorethanoneIntermecUSB
printertoahost,youshouldusedifferentUSBports.
UsingaUSBClassA/Bcable,connecttheClassAplugtoyourPCor
hubandtheClassBplugtoyourprinter.
TheUSBinterfaceisessentiallyaone-waycommunicationinterfaceand
isthusnotrecommendedforprogramming.Thereisnocommunication
setupfortheUSBport.
