Operation and Application
– Current setting: Analog control of the output current can be accomplished
by connecting external DC voltage sources in the range of 0 V to 10 V to
the 1 and 3 pins.
By connecting a voltage source to the Vac Pro or OCPrms Pro pins, a volt-
age setting from 0 to + 10 V corresponds to the zero to full-scale voltage or
current setting of the power supply.
For example, if the maximum rated value is 300 V, and if the voltage source
is set to 5 V, the setting voltage should be approximately 150 V. If the maxi-
mum rated value is 6 A, and if the voltage source is set to 5 V, the setting
current should be approximately 3 A.
• DC Mode
– Voltage setting: Analog control of the output voltage can be accom-
plished by connecting external DC voltage sources in the range of -10 V
to 10 V to the 15 and 4 pins.
– Current setting: Analog control of the output current can be accomplished
by connecting external DC voltage sources in the range of 0 V to 10 V to
the 1 and 3 pins.
By connecting a voltage source to the Vac Pro or OCPrms Pro pins, a volt-
age setting from - 10 V to + 10 V or 0 to + 10 V corresponds to the zero to
full-scale voltage or current setting of the power supply.
For example, if the rated value ranges from - 400 V to + 400 V , and if the
voltage source is set to -5 V, the setting voltage should be approximately
-200 V. If the maximum rated value is 6 A, and if the voltage source is set to
5 V, the setting current should be approximately 3 A.
Analog Monitoring of Voltage and Current
This function can monitor and read the output voltage and current values. The
connection diagram is as follows:
• Current monitoring: Output voltage values can be monitored and read by
connecting a digital voltmeter to the 14 and 6 pins.
