10. Remove the plunger and guide bushing
(Figure 90) from the gland nut and inspect.
Note: The guide bushing may be stuck
and require some force to remove.
Use a tool in the cutout (Figure 91)
to push the bushing out. Use cau-
tion to avoid damaging the gland
nut.
