User and Installaon Manual
Compact MPA
5.2.7 AMPLIFIERS
The number of loudspeakers, their tapping (actual power output) and, in some cases, the zone segmentaon determines the
necessary number of ampliers in the amplier pool.
In a xed line level (100V) system such as the Compact MPA, the requirement for amplier power is exactly the same as the
loudspeaker output gure.
During planning of the Compact MPA GA / PA system installaon it is recommended to allow for 10 – 25 % headroom for
the amplier pool. This is to take account of any adjustments during installaon or as a result of subsequent changes to the
conguraon.
The 1671 power amplier delivers a maximum connuous power output of 250W. Note that if the 1671’s auxillary 24VDC
power output is used, the available audio power output is reduced to 220W.
Amplier requirement calculaon example. Amp 1’s 24VDC output is used, reducing its power output to 220W:

5.2.8 SHORT CIRCUIT PROOF LOUDSPEAKERS
A 100V line adapted loudspeaker equipped with a line transformer is regarded as a protecon against loudspeaker short
