9.2.3 Searching for a port or service 
This function searches for a port or service around the specified coordinates. 
When [Search Port or Service] is selected from the context menu that is displayed when you right-click 
on the screen, the “Search Port or Service” screen is opened and a search starts. 
 
The following items are displayed on the search screen. 
Search Position  Displays the specified coordinates under which a port or 
a service is searched for. The coordinates when the 
context menu was opened by right-clicking are

Port or Service  Select a target to be searched for.  Port (always 
displayed)

Clicking on this button opens the “Search Service 
Setting” screen. To search for a service, check the 
check box for the service to be searched for on this 
screen. A service can be selected from the Port and

contents that are input.

Search Range  Specify a search range based on the specified 
0.1 to 99.9 NM 
Level  Specify a level of the port or the service to be searched 
for. 
A level is assigned to a port or service and the port or 
the service is displayed or hidden according to the 
display scale. When the [Current Level] check box is 
checked, this item cannot be specified. 
W (Wide)

Current Level  Sets the level of the port or the service to be searched 
for to the level according to the current display scale. 
Enable: Checked 
[Search] button  When this button is clicked on, search for a port or a 
service starts. At completion of the search, the result is
