The unit can display the accumulated running time of the head drum as hour meter data on the counter display. The hour meter can
be displayed by selecting HM (HOUR METER) on the VCR Setup Menu. Use this as a guide for periodical maintenance.
See page 7.
1.
Set the POWER switch to ON.
2.
Press the MENU button to display the VCR Setup Menu.
"MENU" lights in the display, and the VCR Setup Menu's
group menu appears in the viewfinder and on the counter
display.
3.
Press the GROUP button and choose "HM: HOUR METER".
"HM HOUR METER" is shown blinking in the viewfinder.
The counter display shows "Hour".
4.
Press the SELECT button.
The accumulated running time of the head drum is indicated
in the viewfinder and on the counter display.
5.
To return to the normal mode, press the DATA SET button.
Pressing the MENU button returns you to the group menu.

The hour meter is not shown correctly when no
videocassette is inserted.

Accumulated drum running time: 200 hrs.
Viewfinder
Turn OFF the power to the camera before attaching the
receiver.
1.
Insert the wireless receiver into the rectangular hole as
shown in the illustration.
* Position the wireless receiver so that the operation panel
side is toward the rear of the camera.

Connect the cable provided with the wireless receiver.
* Plug one end of the cable into the OUTPUT connector of
the wireless receiver, and plug the other end into the
AUDIO INPUT connector (CH1 or CH2).

How to Attach
A cover with a rectangular hole for mounting the wireless receiver is attached to the camera when shipped from the factory.

When the Wireless Receiver is Not Used
When the wireless receiver is not used, perform the following
procedure to install the cover with no rectangular hole. This
cover is provided with the camera.
1.
Remove the four screws holding the cover with the
rectangular hole, and then remove the cover.
2.
Insert the cover with no rectangular hole into the camera
and use the two shorter screws to hold it in place.
