6 Integrated disconnection
This applies to meters with integrated breaker.
The breaker function is controlled by the meter’s main processor and consists of bistable relays that maintain
their disconnection status independently of the supply to the meter.
The breaker disconnects the phases of the meter. The neutral connection is not disconnected.
6.1 Disconnect function in the meter
Meters with integrated disconnection brakers can cut off/disconnect the consumer’s supply.
Do not use the function as safety cut-off.
It is possible to disconnect the meter in 4 ways:
- Manually by activating the push button
- Remotely controlled via a communication command in the reading software
- Intelligent disconnection via current or power (smart disconnect)
- Prepayment.
It is possible to reconnect the meter in 4 ways:
- Manually by activating the push button
- Remotely controlled via a communication command and activating the push button
- Remotely controlled via a communication command and an additional communication command
- Automatically after smart disconnect or prepayment.
