STEREO PAIRS
K-Mix channels 1 and 2, 3 and 4, 5 and 6, and/or 7 and 8 can be paired
into stereo channels. Once paired, their parameters sync up and follow
each other if any of them are adjusted.
EXAMPLE USE
1. Bring up channel 1’s channel strip by clicking its channel select
button (in the editor).
2. Click the “Stereo Pairs” button; the button will turn white and the text will change to “Paired”.
The parameters for channel 1 will copy into channel 2.
3. Adjust the fader level of channel 1 or channel 2, either by
clicking and dragging the fader in the editor, or by adjusting
the fader level on the K-Mix hardware.
4. Channels 1 and 2 will now move together and follow any
subsequent changes to settings in either channel.
EQUALIZER SECTION
The Equalizer section of the channel strip is home to the EQ parameters. Each of the 8 input
channels (and the main output bus) have their own 3-band, semi-parametric EQ available.
BYPASS BUTTON
The bypass button enables or disables the EQ on the currently selected
channel.
• Clicking the button will toggle the state of the bypass.
• The button will light up blue when enabled (EQ on).
• The button will go dark when disabled (EQ bypassed).
LOW
The EQ’s lower band is a sweepable, dual-pole, low-shelving lter.
FREQUENCY KNOB & NUMBER BOX
The low frequency knob controls the center frequency of the low-
shelf lter.
• Turn clockwise to increase the frequency; turn counterclockwise
to decrease the frequency.
• A specic value may be entered into the accompanying number box as an alternative
way of setting the frequency.
• Range: 20Hz – 400Hz
