Restoring factory defaults
Before performing each procedure, restore the instrument to its factory defaults as
follows:
1. Press SETUP.
2. Select PRESET, then restore the factory default conditions by pressing
ENTER.

• DC current output amplitude accuracy (Model 6220 and 6221), page 16-6
• Compliance accuracy (Model 6220 and 6221), page 16-8
• Waveform function amplitude and frequency accuracy (Model 6221 only),
page 16-9
Test considerations
When performing the procedures:
• Be sure to restore factory defaults as outlined above.
• Make sure that the test equipment is properly warmed up and connected to
the correct Model 622x connector.
• Be sure that a shorting connector is connected to the INTERLOCK connec-
tor, or you will not be able to turn on the output for testing. See Section 2 for
details on the interlock.
• Make sure the test equipment and Model 622x settings are correct.
