6. Correction of residual errors due to immersion basket
 Place container with water or other liquid
under the balance
 Immerse empty immersion basket in the
water or liquid
 Press [TARE/ZERO] key to tare the
balance and correct residual errors of the
weighing container
7. Measuring the sample
 Place sample in the immersion basket
 Immerse the immersion basket with
sample placed upon completely in the
water or liquid.
 Press the [S] key when the stable weight
value is displayed.
 Read off the specific density result
