MMEMory:STORe:DATA {RDG_STORE}, <file>
Stores all measurements in reading memory to the specified data file. The file name optionally includes the folder
name and the .csv or .dat file extension.
Parameter Typical return
<file> = Any valid file name with IEEE-488.2 definite-length block. (none)
Store all measurements in reading memory to MyDAQ.csv in the root folder of the internal flash file system:
MMEM:STOR:DATA RDG_STORE,"INT:\MyDAQ"
If a .csv file extension is specified, or if no file extension is specified, the data is stored in ASCII format. If the .dat
file extension is specified, the data is stored in binary format.
File format is affected by MMEMory:FORMat:READing:CSEParator.
When the reading memory overflowed at 1,000,000 readings,
Any new readings will overwrite the first (oldest) readings saved; the most recent readings are always pre-
served.
In scan mode, only the full-sweeps of scanned memory readings are storing in the file; partial-sweeps are
ignored.
In scan mode, sweep number stored in file is always starts from 1, which indicates the full-sweep of scanned
memory readings.
The destination folder must exist and cannot be marked as hidden or system.
If the destination file exists, it will be overwritten, unless marked as hidden or system.
MMEMory:STORe:DATA:AUTO {OFF | ON}
MMEMory:STORe:DATA:AUTO?
Enables (On) or disables (Off) the automatic storing of the single channel DMM digitizing readings to a USB drive
connected to the front panel USB host port after measurement complete.
Parameter Typical Return
{OFF | ON}
Default: OFF
0 (OFF) or 1 (ON)
Single channel DMM digitizing readings are to be stored to the USB drive after measurement complete: MMEM:STOR:DATA:AUTO ON
This setting will be saved in non-volatile memory on the instrument and will not be affected by a Factory Reset
(*RST command) or Instrument Preset (SYSTem:PRESet command).
When USB automatic storing is enabled, readings are saved to file on the USB drive inserted in the front panel
USB host port after measurement complete.
If you remove the USB drive during storing, storing will stop. If you re-attach the USB drive, it will not cause
storing to resume. However, readings are still able to store manually using MMEMory:STORe:DATA command.
