Safety Considerations
FieldFox Markings
This symbol combines the following three markings:
CE indicates product compliance with all relevant European legal Directives (if
accompanied by a year, it signifies when the design was proven).
ICES indicates product compliance with the Canadian Interference-Causing
Equipment Standard (ICES–001).
ISM indicates this is an Industrial Scientific and Medical Group 1 Class B product
(CISPR 11, Clause 4)
This symbol marks the standby position of the power line switch.
The WEEE symbol indicates separate collection for electrical and electronic
equipment, mandated under EU law as of August 13, 2005. All electric and
electronic equipment are required to be separated from normal waste for disposal.
China Restricted Substance Label. The EPUP (environmental protection use
period) number indicates the time period which no hazardous or toxic substance
elements are expected to leak or deteriorate during normal use and generally
reflects the expected useful life of the product.
The instruction documentation symbol. The product is marked with this symbol
when it is necessary for the user to refer to the instruction in the documentation..
Korean Certification (KC) mark. It includes the marking’s identifier code which
follows the format: R-R-Kst-ZZZZZZZZZ.
The Keysight email address is required by EU directives applicable to our product.
This mark indicates product has been designed to meet the requirements of
"IP x y", where "x" is the solid particle protection and "y" is the liquid ingress
protection.
Hot surface - connectors get hot during extended operation, so care must be
taken when making connections and disconnections.
Battery Charger system mark per California Energy Commission (CEC), Appliance
Efficiency Regulations, Title 20 Section 1607(d)(10).
