What to do if Kinze Farm Equipment is not planting seed?
    • C
      crystal47Aug 27, 2025
If your Kinze Farm Equipment is not planting seed, several issues could be the cause. First, ensure the seed hoppers are filled. Check for any plugs or damage in the seed tube, and clean or replace it if necessary. Inspect and repair or replace any damaged meter drive components. Low or no vacuum could also be the culprit, so inspect the vacuum system. Adjust the singulator blade if it's set too aggressively. Repair or replace a faulty vacuum gauge. If there's seed bridging in the hopper, add graphite to improve seed flow. Check for foreign material between the vacuum cover and disc that could cause loss of vacuum at meter. Use the appropriate disc for seed type and size. Engage the meter drive clutch, and ensure the fan is running. Finally, check the vacuum manifold for dirt and clean it.

How to troubleshoot vacuum level on Kinze Farm Equipment?
    • M
      Maurice HendricksAug 27, 2025
If you're unable to achieve the desired vacuum level on your Kinze Farm Equipment, start by increasing the flow to the fan motor if the tractor hydraulic flow is set too low. Verify all hydraulic connections and hose routings are correct. Inspect the motor and impeller for wear or damage, repairing or replacing as necessary. Look for any damage or obstructions in the vacuum hose, cleaning the air lines and manifold by removing the end cap from the manifold and running the fan at high speed. Ensure all air hoses are securely attached. Check the gauge line for dirt or obstructions and clean it.

Why is the centrifugal pump not turning on in my Kinze Farm Equipment?
    • M
      Michael BassAug 28, 2025
If the centrifugal pump on your Kinze Farm Equipment isn't turning on, first check if the bulk fill remote (identified by yellow hoses) is turned off and turn it on. Make sure the Master Switch is on. Ensure that fertilizer is turned on. Also, verify that the tank is not empty by ensuring fluid is in the tank.

What to do if neither marker lowers on Kinze Farm Equipment?
    • M
      Michael ShannonAug 28, 2025
If neither marker lowers on your Kinze Farm Equipment, check the red light on the control console. It should be on if the switch is on. If the light is not on, switch to the opposite marker position. If the light comes on, the switch may be defective and should be replaced. Otherwise, replace the fuse. Check if the coils at V1 and V2 are not energized and repair as required. Check if the marker flow control valve is closed too far.

Why right marker will not lower on Kinze Farm Equipment?
    • Q
      qshepherdAug 29, 2025
If the right marker will not lower on your Kinze Farm Equipment, check the switch on the control console and replace it if defective. Also, check the solenoid coil in port V1 to ensure it is energized. Check the coil ground wire for poor connection or damaged wire. If the solenoid cartridge in port V1 is stuck closed, switch the cartridge with one on the planter you know is operating properly. If the right marker lowers, replace the defective cartridge.

What causes right marker lowering slower than left marker on Kinze Farm Equipment?
    • M
      Maria McintoshAug 30, 2025
If the right marker is lowering slower than the left marker on your Kinze Farm Equipment, it could be due to the solenoid valve cartridge in port V1 not opening completely. Try switching it with the cartridge in port V2. If the problem repeats, replace the cartridge. Another possibility is a pinched or collapsed hose, so inspect the hose routing and replace or repair hoses as required.

What to do if seed stops flowing to row unit during Kinze Farm Equipment planting?
    • L
      Linda MyersAug 31, 2025
If seed stops flowing to the row unit during planting with your Kinze Farm Equipment, it may be due to seed surging. Shut down the air seed delivery system and restart it from idle; seed should start flowing. Another cause could be debris in the system. Insert the shutoff door and open the cleanout door, then remove the plug to clear any debris.

    Leslie VasquezAug 25, 2025
What to do if fertilizer fluctuates on Kinze Farm Equipment?
    • B
      Bradley GordonAug 25, 2025
If the fertilizer fluctuates while using your Kinze Farm Equipment, ensure the bulk fill remote (identified by yellow hoses) is at maximum flow. Add fluid to the tank if the fluid level is low. Refer to the orifice chart in the Rate Chart section of this manual and select the correct orifice for your application if the orifice size is incorrect for the rate and speed. Lower the Gain value in the Fertilizer settings menu by .01 if the gain value is set too high.
