HP Tube End Connection – Anti-vibration
The following type of connection must be used when tubing is subjected to
vibration, rotation, movement, and side loads (i.e. whip tubing). Lubricate
threads as above.
Do not depend on end connection to take load alone. Proper
piping support and guide must be provided.
1. Slip gland nut (2) and collet (4) on tubing (1), thread collar (3) until one to
two threads are exposed between collar and tube cone.
2. Lubricate male threads of gland nut with High Purity Goop. Insert tubing in
fitting, engage gland nut and finger tighten.
3. Tighten gland nut to the specified torque according to the table of
Recommended Torque Values in this section.
