After pressing the F1 key:
• The motor starter in the control panel is activated and the motor (10) starts.
• The hydraulic HI-LO solenoid valve (5) shifts to LOW pressure to allow for
minimum load on the motor during start up. After a few seconds, the
pressure shifts to the operator's switch setting.
• The intensifier assembly starts operating. Reversal position is sensed by
proximity switches (16), which send signals to the PLC inside the control
panel. The PLC activates the opposite solenoid on the pump reversing valve
(17).
