Shadow management
If a connected PV string is subjected to partial shading,
e.g. caused by other parts of a building, trees or power
lines, the entire PV string no longer achieves its optimum
performance. The PV modules aected behave like a
bottleneck and thereby prevent better performance.
The intelligent shadow management integrated in the
inverter now adapts the MPP tracker of the selected
string so that the PV string can always deliver optimum
performance in spite of partial shading.
Shadow management can be activated via the
Webserver.
