Storing energy
If external battery storage is connected to the DC input 3
on the inverter (can be released using the battery activa-
tion code), the generated PV energy can be stored and
accessed later on for self-consumption.

The connection and battery use at the DC input 3
on the inverter must be released beforehand in the
inverter. To do this, the battery activation code can
be purchased from the KOSTAL Solar online shop.

Various battery storage systems (various manufac-
turers) can be connected to the PLENTICORE plus.
You will find a list of approved KOSTAL Solar Electric
battery storage systems on our homepage in the
download area for the product.

Various scenarios for the battery use strategy can
also be selected on the Webserver, allowing the sys-
tem to be matched to your requirements.
n
By using the smart generation and consumption fore-
cast, usage of the generated energy is optimised (in
addition to the simple process of storing power) and
all power limitations stipulated by law are satisfied at
the same time.
