Installation
The energy meter is installed on a top-hat rail in the
meter box or the main distributor.
The energy meter can be fitted in 2 positions in the home
network (position1 = home consumption, position2 =
grid connection point). Both installation positions are
possible but position 1 is the preferred option due to the
more accurate measurement results it provides for home
consumption. The installation position is queried in the
installation wizard or can be set later on by an installer in
the Webserver.
The diagrams only provide an example because the
connections may dier depending on the energy meter
used.

INFORMATION
Only energy meters which have
been approved for the inverter by
KOSTAL Solar Electric GmbH may
be used.
You will find an up- to- date list of
the approved energy meters on our
homepage in the download area for
the product.
The following energy meters are
currently approved:
n B+G SDM630-Modbus
This meter can only be used to
monitor home consumption.
n TQ EM 300 LR
This meter can also be used by
the energy supply company to
monitor, to control the battery and
to control feed- in (e.g. 70%).
