8.1 Safety device front

 Press the catch(2) to move the safety device(1) into the required position.

ü The machine is shut down and safeguarded, refer to page23.
 Loosen the catch (2).
 Fold down the safety device (1).

 Ensure that the safety device(1) is engaged in the lock(2) on the right and left sides of the
machine.
 Ensure that the guard cloth(5) is positioned behind the side guard(4) on the right and left
sides of the machine.
 Close the turnlock fasteners(3).
