8.1 Safety device front

Press the catch(2) to move the safety device(1) into the required position.
8.1.2 Folding down safety device front

ü The machine is in the working position, refer to page46.
ü The machine is shut down and safeguarded, refer to page23.
Loosen the catch (2).
Fold down the safety device (1).

Ensure that the safety device(1) is engaged in the lock(2) on the right and left sides of the
machine.
Ensure that the guard cloth(5) is positioned behind the side guard(4) on the right and left
sides of the machine.
Close the turnlock fasteners(3).
