Fitting with tension jack
• Mount tension jack (1) with connecting link (3) on the clevis of top link (2).
• Hinge relief springs on both sides with the same length.
• Set the tension jack to a maximum value of a = 230 mm.
• Raise mowing unit, switch off tractor engine, remove the ignition key and carry it with you.
• Fasten the chain (4) as short as possible with connecting link (5) on the tension jack (1).
• Lower mowing unit into mowing position.

• Separate surplus chain and fasten it at a suitable point.

In mowing position, the inclination of the relief spring chain should be approx. 35° in mowing
position.

Fitting without tension jack
• Raise mowing unit, switch off tractor engine, remove the ignition key and carry it with you.
• Fasten the chain (4) as short as possible with connecting link (3) on the tension jack clevis
(2).
• Lower mowing unit into mowing position.
