► Close the pump valve on the front
corner post.

► Actuate the lever on the hand pump
until the lock reaches the highest pos-
sible position.

► Fix the lock at the highest possible po-
sition.

stress on the hand pump.
► Repeat all the work steps on the rear
corner posts.
► Perform the work steps on both sides
of the vehicle.

For load securing with partial loads, the
tension straps must be crossed over. For
the transverse lashing, the straps that are
attached to the ropes in the vehicle longit-
udinal direction must be tensioned with
tension straps.
