► Turn the switch to the "hand" position.
► Move the curtain hooks into position by
hand.
► Turn the switch to the "close" position

ü The EasyTarp curtain tensioning
device is tensioned and locked.
Re-tightening the EasyTarp curtain ten-
sion cable
If the tension subsides, the EasyTrap cur-
tain tension cable can be re-tightened.
Depending on the version, KRONE trailers
may be equipped with the following to re-
tighten the EasyTarp curtain tension cable
○ a threaded rod, or
○ a grid.
Re-tightening the EasyTarp curtain with
a threaded rod
þ The EasyTarp curtain tensioning
device is opened.

► Release both nuts at the rear in the
direction of travel.
► Turn the nut at the front in the direction
of travel until the curtain tensioning
device tightens the tension cable.
► Bolt on the curtain tensioning device
again with the nuts.
ü The EasyTarp curtain is re-tightened.
