– Pull the lower chain section with specified weight A.
Guideline
Weight, chain wear measurement 15 kg (33 lb.)
– Measure the distance B of 18 chain links in the lower chain section.

Chain wear is not always even, so you should repeat this measurement at differ-
ent chain positions.
Maximum distance B at the longest
chain section
272 mm (10.71 in)
» If distance B is greater than the specified measurement:
–
Change the power set. x
Info
When the chain is replaced, the rear sprocket and engine sprocket
should also be changed.
A new chain wears out faster on old, worn sprockets.
For safety reasons, the chain has no chain joint.
