– Position the brake calipers and check that the brake linings are seated correctly.
– Mount screws 5 on both brake calipers but do not tighten yet.
– Operate the hand brake lever repeatedly until the brake linings are in contact with the
brake disc and there is a pressure point. Fixate the hand brake lever while it is actu-
ated.
The brake calipers align themselves.
– Tighten screws 5 on both brake calipers.

– Release the fixation of the hand brake lever.
– Take the motorcycle off of the front wheel stand. ( p. 157)
– Remove the rear of the motorcycle from the lifting gear. ( p. 156)

– Pull the front brake and compress the fork powerfully a few times.
The fork legs straighten.
– Fully tighten screws 6.
