2. Cleaning the machine
Hoppers
Empty and clean hopper inside and outside.
Blower and control boxes
Distribution disc
Mark each disc with the number of the row to which it
was fitted.
This task enables to better match the wear of the disk to
the wear of the friction seal to the benefit of seed drill
accuracy in the future.
Transmission chains
Carefully clean the transmission chains making sure to
remove dust deposits that could cause premature chain
wear.
Regularly clean hopper inside walls and furrow
openers.
Do not pressure-wash with water.
Clean disks with a clean rag.
