Filling Tires with Air
Explosive separation of a tire and rim
parts can cause serious injury or death.
Never cut or weld on inated tire/rim
assembly. Heat from welding can cause an increase
in pressure and may result in tire explosion.
Use proper tire mounting equipment and experienced
personnel for tire repair service.
Carefully inspect any tire and rim assembly for
damage before inating tire. Contact a qualied repair
service if needed.
NOTE: Use a tire pressure gauge with 1-PSI (.07 bar,
6.9 kPa) graduations.
NOTE: Limit air pressure to the proper level.
1. Install lock on air chuck or stand-off gauge on valve
stem.
2. Turn on air supply. Stand to one side of the tire
during ination.
3. After proper ination (the recommended pressure is
40 PSI), release chuck or stand off gauge.
Changing Tires

in pressure and may result in tire explosion.
1. Loosen, but do not remove, the wheel lug nuts.
(Figure 5-6)
2. Raise towable leg.
3. Remove lug nuts and tire.
4. Install replacement tire on the machine;.
5. Tighten every other lug nut alternately in a star
pattern.
