5. The charger will not start charging automatically when the battery is depleted. Start charging as
follows:
1. Remove the bolts and back plate on the backside of the charger and push the On/Off button
(1) for more than 3 seconds and then release it.

2. Check if the green LED (1) (see figure 26 on page 5-25) on the charger control box is on and
the blue led flashes, this indicates that the battery is charging.
If the green led is on and the blue light is off:
• Make sure the pad on the machine is aligned with the pad on the charger, push the
button on the charger control box a few seconds and see if it starts charging.
• Otherwise the battery on the machine may not have been switched on:
See step 7 how to tilt the top of the charger, open the cover of the machine, push the
battery button once, close the cover, tilt the charger top back and push the button on the
charger a few seconds.
3. Install the back plate of the charger with the bolts.
