Toreplacethesystemboardbattery,dothefollowing:
1.Removeallmediafromthedrivesandturnoffallattacheddevicesandtheserver.Then,disconnectall
powercordsfromelectricaloutletsanddisconnectallcablesthatareconnectedtotheserver.
2.Removetheservercover.See“Removingtheservercover”onpage43.
3.Laytheserveronitssideforeasieroperation.
4.Locatethesystemboardbattery.See“Locatingpartsonthesystemboard”onpage33.
5.Notetheorientationofthesystemboardbatteryandremoveitfromthesocket.

6.Followanyspecialhandlingandinstallationinstructionsthatcamewiththenewsystemboardbattery
andinstallthenewsystemboardbatteryintoitssocket.Makesurethatthebatteryclipsecurely
holdsthebattery.
