b.Graspthemicroprocessoronthesidesandliftitstraightupandoutofthesocket.Donottouchthe
contactsonthemicroprocessorsocket.
c.Alignthenotches1ofthemicroprocessorsocketcoverwiththealignmentkeys2ofthe
microprocessorsocket.Lowerthesocketcoverstraightdownintothemicroprocessorsocket
onthesystemboard.
Note:Yourmicroprocessorsocketandcovermightlookslightlydifferentfromtheillustration.
d.Carefullypressthesocketcoverstraightdownwardsuntilitissecuredintothesocket.
e.Lowerthemicroprocessorretainerandthenlowerthelevertosecuretheretainer.Makesurethe
leverissecurelylockedintoposition.
