2. Install the top cover. See

3. If necessary, configure the RAID array using the Setup utility configuration.
4. Complete the parts replacement. See

Remove the PCIe adapter (Slot 3)
Use this information to remove the PCIe adapter from PCIe slot 3.
About this task
Attention:
Replacing the RAID adapter might impact your RAID configurations. Back up your data before the
replacement to avoid any data loss due to a RAID configuration change.
Read the following section(s) to ensure that you work safely.

Power off the server and peripheral devices and disconnect the power cords and all external cables. See
“Power off the server” on page 11.
If the server is installed in a rack, remove the server from the rack.
