CAUTION:
The power-control button on the device and the power switch on the power supply do not turn off the
electrical current supplied to the device. The device also might have more than one power cord. To
remove all electrical current from the device, ensure that all power cords are disconnected from the
power source.

Procedure
Step 1. Make preparations for this task.
a. Remove the top cover. See
“Remove the top cover” on page 132.
b. Disconnect the flash power module cable from the RAID adapter. See

Step 2. Remove the flash power module.

Use your finger to lift the flash power module slightly.

Slide the flash power module out of the server.
